Business Health Matters is a ground-breaking programme that aims to build a healthier workforce across Cumbria and beyond.
We support local businesses to improve the physical and mental health of their employees, so that staff are happier, healthier and more productive.
Starting from £95, our comprehensive health checks (including physical and mental health) will help you understand and tackle the impact that poor health is having on your business.
What's included?
Employee Health Check
This includes a lifestyle questionnaire, pulse oximetry, blood glucose, height & weight, atrial fibrillation, peak flow, pulse rate, body mass index (BMI), ten year cardiovascular disease score, blood pressure, blood cholesterol and a mental health assessment. Each employee will receive a bespoke wellbeing plan as part of the health check.
Online employee support programme including GP access and digital gym
Business Health Matters EAP offers a 24/7 confidential support service designed to assist individuals in dealing more effectively with any problems they might be facing. It also provides a digital gym, online wellbeing studio, discounts, nutritional advice and recipes, 24/7 access to GPs, therapy, counselling and in the moment support.
A wellbeing workshop
We have workshops for the whole workforce that cover; mental health, stress, mindfulness, nutrition, sleep, alcohol awareness and many more.
Access to wellbeing portal exclusive to your business
Access to our Business Health Matters wellbeing portal where you have access to a dashboard and resources to promote health and wellbeing in your workplace.
Report and review meeting of Health Check results
A member of the Business Health Matters team will arrange a meeting to discuss the results of the employee health checks delivered, as well as discussing recommendations and next steps.
