Below are a range of our comprehensive wellbeing packages which are on offer to Lancashire-based businesses that have taken part in the health checks process or require additional support for their staff.
The packages have been developed by our delivery partners, including mental health initiatives from Lancashire Mind, and are flexible to the needs of your business.

Wellbeing Initiatives – Physical Health

Healthy Lifestyle Workshops

This is a 1 hour workshops for a maximum of 16 people relating to different Health and Wellbeing themes. Businesses can select from:

  • Stretching and Flexibility
  • Exercise, Physical Activity and Movement
  • Diet and Nutrition
  • Weight Management

£125 delivered in business premises

£225 if requiring an external venue

Individual Healthy Lifestyle Support

This is made up of 6 sessions designed to provide individual healthy lifestyle support to a person following their health check.

Each session will be delivered virtually or via a telephone conversation and will last 30 minutes. The first session for all people will be a goal setting session, looking at the results of a person’s health check in more depth, discussing what they would like to achieve and then setting some SMART goals.

Subsequent sessions will then be focused on providing guidance and monitoring progress to help the person achieve their goals.

Bespoke activity offers from the leisure provider in your area

Health check delivery partners can provide specific activity offers in your area. These can range from corporate gym memberships, activity classes in your workplace to healthy weight courses. Wellbeing Initiatives – Mental Health

Initiatives for the whole workforce:

Self-Awareness of Stress, Anxiety and Depression Seminar

Face to face or virtual delivery options.

This one-hour workshop introduces learners to the concepts of stress, anxiety and depression and helps to prevent stigma and misconceptions. Please note that suicide is mentioned briefly in this workshop.

A 1 hour session for up to 20 people, with each participant provided with a resource pack.
£375 per session.
Virtual open access cost £40 per person.

Self-Awareness of Stress, Anxiety & Depression and Introduction to Resilience Combination Seminar

Face to face or virtual delivery options.

This two-hour workshop introduces learners to the concepts of stress, anxiety and depression and helps to prevent stigma and misconceptions.  Then introduces the topic of resilience and practical tools individuals can embed within their workplace or personal lives to improve resilience over time. Please note that suicide is mentioned briefly in this workshop.

A 2 hour session for up to 20 people, with each participant provided with a resource pack.
£575 per session.
Virtual open access cost £60 per person.

Understanding Anxiety Seminar

Face to face or virtual delivery options.

This one and a half hour workshop aims to provide information to individuals experiencing anxiety or are supporting individuals who experience anxiety and provides practical tools to manage those feelings.

A 1.5 hour session for up to 20 people, with each participant provided with a resource pack.
£475 per session.
Virtual open access cost £50 per person.

Goal Setting Seminar

Face to face or virtual delivery options.

This workshop aims to encourage learners to understand the benefits of goal setting from a mental wellbeing perspective and provides tips to support learners to reach their personal goals. 

A 1.5 hour session for up to 20 people, with each participant provided with a resource pack.
£475 per session.

Confidence Building Seminar

Face to face or virtual delivery options.

This workshop aims to encourage learners to build confidence in themselves to improve positive feelings of wellbeing over time.

Additional Mental Health Services – Individual

Adult Mental Health First Aid

Virtual and face to face delivery options (Face to face is delivered in 2 consecutive days, virtually this course will be delivered across 4 half day sessions supported by self-guided study from learners at home).

Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course, designed to teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. In the same way as learning physical first aid, MHFA teaches people how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health and feel confident to guide someone to appropriate support. Embedding MHFA training within any organisation or community also encourages people to talk more freely about mental health, reducing stigma and creating a more positive culture. Please note that suicide is mentioned in this workshop.

£120 per person.

Suicide First Aid (Lite)

Face to face or virtual delivery options (half day)

Suicide First Aid Lite is a half day workshop is a City & Guilds registered workshop which provides learners with the confidence and tools to understand the impact of suicide and, using a first aid approach, take someone who is experiencing thoughts of suicide from a place of danger and isolation to a place of safety and support. Suicide First Aiders use a three step approach to identify the signs that someone may be experiencing thoughts of suicide, recognise the needs of that person, ask about suicide clearly and directly and use safety planning to empower the individual to find appropriate support. This is a certified specialist course.

This course is 3 hours long and is open to a maximum of 16 people.
£1025 per session.
Virtual open access cost £85 per person.

Managing Mental Health in the Workplace

Face to face or virtual delivery options (half day)

Aimed at managers and supervisors, this half day training session is CPD registered and provides a greater understanding of common mental health conditions in the workplace and what signs to look for in staff. This may be a starting point to encourage senior level buy-in or to ensure your organisation is offering a consistent approach to supporting mental health at work. Together we will be examining misconceptions and considering best practice; including asset mapping your current offer and possibly improving on it.

Please note that suicide is mentioned briefly in this workshop. The course is 3 hours long and is open to a maximum of 16 people.
£625 per session.
Virtual open access cost £80 per person.

One to one Wellbeing Coaching

Wellbeing Coaches offer an assessment session followed by six intervention sessions. Sessions run for up-to one hour, normally once a week. In the first session, the coach and client put together a wellbeing action plan and identify barriers to good mental health. The coach and client then work through a range of resilience building and  coping strategies for the client to practice in between sessions.

£55 per session or £305 for a block booking of six sessions.

Drop-in Coaching

Wellbeing Coaches can deliver a drop in service for clients to book in for 30 minutes, to pick up one or 2 current      issues that are causing concern. Clients are supported using a range of tools and techniques to address issues such as social anxiety, stress or low mood.  Organisations can go on to purchase one to one coaching for individual clients should the client benefit for additional support.  Available in half day and full day options. Organisations are asked to agree to a 6 month contract for this service.

Wellbeing Stand

Branded Lancashire Mind stand to include a variety of Mind leaflets and local signposting information.  Employees to the stand will be free to speak to Lancashire Mind staff for signposting and information.  Employees will also have the option to undertake their own WEMWBS (wellbeing checks) and speak to Lancashire Mind staff for signposting in relation to results.
